People for Animals Hooghly is a trusted animal welfare organisation in Hooghly, West Bengal, devoted to the wellbeing of street dogs and stray cats. Born from a simple belief that every life deserves kindness, we stand beside animals who have no voice, no shelter, and no one to speak for them. Our team of volunteers, animal lovers, and compassionate citizens works with heart and humility, guided by empathy rather than recognition. We believe a society is judged by how it treats its most vulnerable, and we strive to make Hooghly a place where animals are respected, not feared or forgotten. Together with our community, we are building a gentler, more humane tomorrow, where every paw finds safety, dignity, and love.
